Maybe it's the way we all turn, I don't know, but at a certain age evrything is all wrong and turning back to our youth provides all the answers. Cheers, one misty eyed 80's freak.

I was born 1971, growning older have you noticed how time is reversing. We wear flared (high waisted) trousers, ra ra skirts,all the old fashions coming back as we as watching the same programmes again (TJ Hooker, A Team & Miami Vice repeats on cable) and enjoy them just as much now as we did then. We will never grow up or feel as young!!! Great stuff

Is born in Chesterfield in 1961 and grew up in Derbyshire through the sixties and seventies. I live in Washington, DC now but have been keeping a daily diary since 1976 which is a constant source of amusement to me. I have now started a blog that focuses on nostalgic recollections from the past thirty years and each day I can conjure up another memory as I flip through my diaries in search of a new story. It's amazing how nostalgia is like a kind of comfort blanket, wrapping us up and making us feel comfy-cosy in this fast-paced adult world of computers, ipods and 24 hour television!
